TK THE ARTIST

TK is a dynamic Afrosoul/Jazz fusion artist who seamlessly blends the rich melodies of Gospel, RnB, and Afrobeats into a captivating musical experience. Hailing from Nigeria, TK’s deep connection to rhythm and vocal prowess shines through as he effortlessly sings and plays the drums simultaneously. Joining him on stage are four incredible musicians namely, Alvin Mwanicky on Guitar, Daniel Sarmiento on Bass, Ill Sash on Keys, and Rowan Farintosh on the Saxophone. 

The band’s collective sound derives inspiration from the soul-stirring melodies of neo-soul, the infectious rhythms in modern Hip Hop and Afrobeats, and the uplifting energy of Jazz; an amalgamation of sister genres of music from all over the world that creates a smooth, silky, and groovy experience for the listeners. This artist has rocked intimate stages like Sofar Sounds Vancouver, VEC, Capital Ballroom, and Bully Studios to list a few. Also frequently created musical experiences that left audiences dancing during summer festivals like the Phillips Backyards, Tofino Jazz, Sunshine Music Festival, and many more.
